White-Label (Branding)
Consulting and MSP partners can offer Controlio to their customers under their own brand. The engine and the scanning stay the same; only the look changes. "powered by Controlio Security®" always stays at the bottom, and product names such as TrueState and VIP Guard are kept as well.
Setting up your brand
On the Brand screen in the Partner Portal you enter your brand name, primary color, support email and logo. The moment you save, your portal takes on your brand.
Which customer shows your brand
The brand follows the customer, not the person who signs in. So the app view and the reports of a customer you manage appear under your brand.
Matching happens in two ways. First Controlio looks at a customer it has assigned to you (mspId). If there is no such assignment, it looks for a won opportunity for that tenant. Records that are only a sales reservation, whether pending or approved, do not trigger a brand, because they are not a customer yet.
The co-brand shows in the customer's app interface and in the reports (Security Assessment and License Audit). If no brand is set, the look stays Controlio.
Privacy
A customer's brand is returned only to that customer or to the owning MSP. The relationship between a partner and a customer does not leak to anyone else.
